{"page":{"title":"Terms and Conditions","content":"### **General Remarks**\r\nMeteoAlarm is an Early Warning Dissemination System of the European National Meteorological and Hydrological Services, established to visualise, aggregate, and accessibly provide awareness information across Europe (Region VI, WMO).\r\n         \r\nMeteoAlarm has been developed for EUMETNET, the European Network of National Meteorological Services, and is managed on its behalf by GeoSphere Austria.\r\n\r\n### **Definitions**\r\nFor the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:\r\n- \"MeteoAlarm Participants\" refers to the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services that provide warnings to MeteoAlarm. This encompasses the EUMETNET Members, as well as Cooperating National Meteorological Services of EUMETNET, listed under [MeteoAlarm Participants](https://meteoalarm.org/en/live/page/meteoalarm-participants#list).\r\n- \"MeteoAlarm Website\" refers to both relevant websites, [www.meteoalarm.org](https://meteoalarm.org/en/live/) and [www.feeds.meteoalarm.org](https://feeds.meteoalarm.org).\r\n- \"Information\" refers to the awareness information provided by the MeteoAlarm Participants within the required elements of the warning, as specified in the [MeteoAlarm CAP Profile](https://gitlab.com/meteoalarm-pm-group/documents/-/raw/master/MeteoAlarm_CAP_Profile_v2.0.pdf?inline=true).\r\n- \"Content\" refers to all data on the MeteoAlarm Website, except for Information. This includes, but is not limited to, text, icons, design, layout, maps, software, and downloadable data.\r\n- \"Redistribute\" refers to the act of integrating Information originating from the MeteoAlarm Website into the operations of redistributors. This may encompass the integration of such Information into a wide range of services, hereafter referred to as applications.\r\n\r\n### **1. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions**\r\nBy using the MeteoAlarm Website, you acknowledge your understanding and agreement to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are effective immediately upon your interaction with the MeteoAlarm Website. The use of the MeteoAlarm Website is only permitted if you comply with these Terms and Conditions.\r\n\r\n### **2. Changes to the Terms and Conditions**\r\nThe MeteoAlarm Participants reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. By continuing to use the MeteoAlarm Website after any amendments, you indicate your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.\r\n\r\n### **3. Liability**\r\nThe MeteoAlarm Participants have made all reasonable efforts to ensure that all Information provided through the MeteoAlarm Website is accurate at the time of publishing. Information on the MeteoAlarm Website is subject to continuous updates and changes. Neither the MeteoAlarm Participants nor any other Information providers bear responsibility for errors or delays on the MeteoAlarm Website, nor for any actions taken based on reliance on such Information. Under no circumstances are the MeteoAlarm Participants liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages or lost profits arising from the use, redistribution, or misinterpretation of the provided Information.\r\n\r\n### **4. Intellectual Property Rights**\r\nThe ownership of the Information provided on the MeteoAlarm Website and related Intellectual Property Rights remains with the MeteoAlarm Participants who originally generated them. The Content on the MeteoAlarm Website, collectively produced by the MeteoAlarm Participants, and related Intellectual Property Rights is owned by EUMETNET. EUMETNET grants the MeteoAlarm Participants a non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable license to use this Content.\r\n\r\n### **5. Use and Redistribution of Information**\r\nAll Information on the MeteoAlarm Website may be used and redistributed under terms equivalent to the [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) (CC BY 4.0), along with the following additional requirements:\r\n- If the Information being redistributed is modified in any way, it must be redistributed along with the same Information without any material change or modification.\r\n- If the Information being redistributed spans more than one country, the source of the Information must always be displayed as \"EUMETNET – MeteoAlarm\".\r\n- If the Information being redistributed spans a single country, the name of the relevant MeteoAlarm Participant (National Meteorological and Hydrological Service) must always be displayed.\r\n- The time of issue of the Information being redistributed, as indicated on the MeteoAlarm Website at the time the Information is extracted, must be included in any redistribution.\r\n- Any Information being redistributed through internet applications must include a link to the following URL: [www.meteoalarm.org](https://meteoalarm.org/en/live/).\r\n- Any Information being operationally redistributed must always be made available to users in real-time, with the delay between the publishing on the MeteoAlarm Website and the redistributor's website being on average less than five minutes and never longer than ten minutes.\r\n- All redistributors must publish the following disclaimer: \"Time delays between this website and the [www.meteoalarm.org](https://meteoalarm.org/en/live/) website are possible. For the most up-to-date awareness information as published by the participating National Meteorological and Hydrological Services, please refer to [www.meteoalarm.org](https://meteoalarm.org/en/live/).\"\r\n\r\n### **6. Links to Third-Party Websites**\r\nThe MeteoAlarm Website includes links to websites managed by National Meteorological and Hydrological Services, other organisations, and projects (\"third-party websites\"). These links provide additional information about the third parties and their activities, which is not necessarily endorsed by EUMETNET and/or the MeteoAlarm Participants. EUMETNET and the MeteoAlarm Participants bear no responsibility for the content of linked third-party websites and do not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of materials on such websites.\r\n\r\n### **7. Map Disclaimer**\r\nThe designations employed on the MeteoAlarm Website are in conformity with United Nations Practice. The presentation therein does not express any opinion on the part of the MeteoAlarm Participants, EUMETNET, or its affiliates regarding the legal status of countries, territories, cities, or areas, nor do they express opinions on authorities or the demarcation of frontiers or boundaries. The depiction and use of boundaries, geographic names and related data shown on maps and included in lists, tables, documents, and databases on the MeteoAlarm Website are not warranted to be error-free, nor do they necessarily imply official endorsement or acceptance by EUMETNET and/or the MeteoAlarm Participants.
